Julian teaches on Tuesdays and Thursdays. His goal is to help them achieve their musical goals and enjoy every minute of their drum lessons. Julian has a deep knowledge of drums from his years at WIMA and Vanier and aims to share that knowledge with his students in a fun and engaging way. His band, The Record Breakers, has recorded several albums, played countless shows from Montreal to Nova Scotia, and even opened up for Bon Jovi at the Bell Center. A few years later, in the Fall of 2013, Julian met another WIMA student, Hayden, through Bella at a Showcase and in Summer 2014 they formed The Record Breakers alongside two more WIMA students.Īfter graduating from High School, Julian completed his degree in Audio Recording Technology at Vanier College. In 2011, Julian joined his first Rock Band at WIMA (2011-2014) fronted by his sister, Bella. He also took private lessons at WIMA during those years. Julian studied Percussion all through High School in the Concert Band. Both his father and sister (who’s also his band mate) are Singer/Songwriters. Julian was born in Montreal and he was raised in a very musical family. Jacob teaches on Wednesdays and Saturdays. He can be seen performing coast to coast at highly regarded venues and festivals in Canada such as the TD Edmonton Jazz Festival, The Rex Hotel (Toronto), Markham Jazz Festival, JazzFM Jazz Safari (Toronto), JazzYYC Summer Festival (Calgary), Jazz Bistro (Toronto), Frankie’s Jazz Club (Vancouver), Steel City Jazz Festival (Hamilton), West End Cultural Centre (Winnipeg), the Banff Springs Hotel, and the TD Toronto Jazz Festival to name a few. ![]() He is also a committed music educator and author, having self-published 2 drum method books, taught hundreds of private lessons, given clinics at high schools and universities across Canada, and led university music ensembles. He is well-established in his local music scenes, in addition to performing regularly across Canada.
